The Skywings make them do awful things, like fight other dragons to the death. They are quickly captured by the Skywings. The dragonets succeed in escaping from their minders, but freedom doesn’t last long. These minders are older dragons who have been chosen to guard and protect the dragonets. The main problem in this book is that the Dragonets of Destiny need to end the war and bring peace to their home but they can’t begin to do this until they escape from their underground prison where they are being guarded by three minders.
